Lizards Galore!

The fourth grade at my kids school had a Mt. Man Rendezvous before Thanksgiving Break. Madelyn wanted to make lizard key chains for the event, but her mom forgot to buy supplies until Saturday night, and the rendezvous was on Monday!

We finally sat down at 9:30 on Saturday night with instructions on how to make the lizards (we've never made them before), and I was up until almost 11:00 with Madelyn and Gabe, but we had a blast! Mads and Gabe spent all day Sunday beading and by Monday morning we had made over 20 lizards.

Or course, Madelyn came home after school and let me know the rendezvous wasn't until Tuesday, but that gave her time to make a few more. It was such a fun activity, and my favorite part was that my kids were cooperating and having fun together (and they didn't even know it!).
