Halloween 2009

Carving Pumpkins

Grandma Bangerter used to own a doughnut shop in Wyoming. Each year for Halloween she makes her famous Spudnuts. Many of the cousins gather at her home and spend all day making hundreds and hundreds of spudnuts.

Grandma has plenty of help and we liked the idea, so now we go to my parents home each Halloween to do the same thing. We made about 300 spudnuts this year (and they were good!).

A Dragon

When we put on his costume, Carter told me he didn't want to be a dragon, he wanted to be an alligator. I did some quick thinking and told him he was a purple alligator with wings. He thought that was a great idea and was rather pleasant about the whole idea.

A Wizard

He really did not like this costume and hardly wore it. The beard kept getting in his mouth and the hat was a little top heavy. But it was still cute.
