Emily went into the MTC on November 5, 2014. She was called to the Brasil Porto Alegre mission, but her visa didn't come, so she went to the Provo MTC. Then her visa still didn't come, so she went to the Boise mission. Then Lelia, a friend who works for the Brasilian government, did some research for us and discovered that Emily's application along with several other missionaries, had gotten lost in a large stack of applications. Lelia pulled it out of wher eever it was and got things moving for Emily and all the other missionaries. She was able to head to Brasil in January. Yay!
