Idaho and Washington Trip Part 1: The Best Family Reunion Ever

A couple weeks ago we went to Triangle Park for the King Family Reunion. We camped in a private campground with a dock for the Hope's boat. The campground was all grass, so we didn't even have dirt getting in our tent.

Mckay enjoyed spending every minute of each day on the boat giving rides to the kids of brushing up on his water skiing.

Madelyn and Gabe played with all their cousins, rode on the tube, swung on the rope swing, and enjoyed the Marshmallow Guns that Craig and Sue helped them make.

Carter didn't fall in and drown (this is a valid concern, considering his less-than-healthy respect for the water). He spent much of his time in a life jacket though, just to be safe.

Sam was his usual happy, cute, easy baby self, and I enjoyed good conversation and a chance to water ski.

All in all, I can't remember such a fun weekend where each member of my family was totally happy and having fun all the time. The only thing that would have made it better was if Dusty, Heather, and Esme had made it too.

We finished the reunion with the Hope's getting sealed. The temple presidency let the kids come in and watch their parents be sealed before they were sealed as a family. It was a beautiful event, and seeing those sweet kids dressed in white was a special afternoon. Congratulations Hopes!

Great pics from the reunion!! I wish we could do it again tomorrow - without all the illness. I am amazed at how long this group of bugs lasts! Scott is currently a bizarre color of green and speding most of his time on the bathroom floor. The cold lasts forever too - three of the 6 of us are miserable!! Miss you guys already and very happy that Gabe waited to throw up for your mother :)
